Generally, I follow a common industry practice of not sending tattoo designs until the night before your appointment (with occasional exceptions). This helps keep the creative process focused and ensures the design reflects your vision, rather than being shaped by too many outside opinions.
When designs are sent too early, clients often show them to friends or family for feedback — which can lead to a lot of conflicting suggestions and a cycle of revisions. That back-and-forth can take hours of unpaid time, pulling focus from other clients’ projects and slowing down the overall creative flow.
Please know that I put a great deal of care and time into each custom piece, and I always want you to feel completely confident in what you’re getting. On the day of your appointment, we’ll review the design together and there’s always time to make adjustments to size, placement, or details before starting!
This process helps me create your tattoo with fresh eyes, keeps the artwork cohesive, and ensures you’re getting something designed especially for you.

You’ve booked your appointment — yahoo! Here’s how to get ready so everything goes smoothly on the day.
Try to avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours beforehand, as it can thin your blood and dehydrate you. If you can, moisturise the area a few days in advance — healthy, hydrated skin makes a big difference when it comes to how well the tattoo takes.
Get a good night’s sleep, eat a proper meal, and drink plenty of water the night before and the morning of your appointment. Wear something loose and comfortable, and if you’re unsure about placement, think about clothes that can be easily rolled up or adjusted.
You’re more than welcome to bring snacks, drinks, headphones, or a book to help you relax during the session. And if you have any questions before your appointment, don’t hesitate to reach out via email!

I try my best to take on as many projects as I can, but tattooing isn’t one-size-fits-all. Every artist develops a particular style, approach, and visual language over time. While many of us can technically execute a range of designs, the strongest work happens when a project aligns with the artist’s natural style and strengths.
If I feel that your idea would be better served by someone who specialises in a different aesthetic, I’ll always be honest about that. My goal isn’t simply to say yes — it’s to ensure you end up with a tattoo that feels cohesive, intentional, and beautifully executed.
Choosing an artist because you genuinely connect with their body of work (rather than just availability) makes all the difference. When the fit is right, the result is stronger, more thoughtful, and something you’ll love for years to come.
